The new me!!!!!

So I finally got the courage up and cut off my hair! I was so ready for a change. I didn't have an exact cut in mind but new i was sick of my ponytail. My friend Kristi in my ward was excited to cut it and she did an amazing job. She said the longest part that she cut was 9 inches!! It is still so weird to feel it but I love it. Hopefully I will be able to style it like she did. Anyways here is the before and after pics. I feel like a different person when I look in the mirror. X-)

Having the Johnson's over

We had Jenna and Jeff over for dinner last week. It's always so much fun to get together with the kids. Bryson and Mckenzie love it over here. There is always something exciting for them to find. Of course Tanner thinks he's the boss and keeps everyone in line. haha. He gets a little ocd about his room being clean and organized. Not that I'm complaining. Anyways, we actually remembered to take some pics. I love the one with Jared,Jeff,Parker, and Lacy cuz even the babies are looking. X-) Tanner loves the babies too, he was so excited to hold Lacy. This pic of Kenzie just looks like she's up to something too.

Parker's Blessing

This family pic is from the 12th of october, just after sacrament. Jared delivered a beautiful blessing to our little Parker. The spirit was so strong and I know that everyone present could not deny the wonderful gift the spirit brings. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who values his priesthood. It was a wonderful day that we were able to enjoy with both of our families. It was the first time I cooked for so many people and we all ate so much. I have to brag a little bit because I was so scared that everything wouldn't turn out. Jared got up at 3:30 AM just to turn on the crock pots. They both had 8 pounds of meat in them each. But it all turned out great. We got back from church and the meat was perfect. It went great with my mom's creamy potato salad. My personal favorite. The store bought kind can do my mom's recipe no justice. X-) Thanks to everyone that helped. I think the best thing was homeade ice cream. We are alittle addicted to ice cream at our house. Ginger brought her ice cream maker over so we would have enough. Sure it eas really loud with 2 ice cream makers cranking away. But so worth it. Especially with Mom Organ's yummy texas sheet cake. My dad was sure they were brownies but we corrected him. X-) We feel so blessed to have the support of our families. I know that the gospel is true and I know that we are blessed according to our obedience and faith. Thank you to our family and friends for being there for Parker's blessing. It means so much to us.

Parker and Lacey

Parker and his cousin Lacey. Lacy is 6 weeks older. I took Parker for his 2 month check up and he is already 13.5 pounds. Lacey is so much lighter. I love that they are so close in age and that Jenna lives so close to us, so we can get the kids together often.

October 2008 General Conference

WOW! We are so blessed to have a living prophet and apostles on the earth today...and to be able to hear their words and councel. Conference was amazing! All of the talks were so uplifting and full of things we needed to hear. At a time in the world when all we hear is talk of war and economic distress it is easy to get caught up in the doom and gloom of it all. What a refreshing thing to be able to have hope and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to know that as we obey the commandments and serve others we will be blessed and be at peace!

Random Pics..........

this pic is in Jared's old truck after we picked up the ribbon for our wedding invitations. We thought it was cool it said straight and narrow on it....we are easily amused. X-)
The other is when we went to the snow to play. Since I was pregnant I couldn't go snowboarding.( It was worth it though)

This other pic was taken by one of the sister missionaries in the visitor's center. Right before we got engaged. Can't you see the love?!
This pic is on top of the conference center in Salt Lake in October 2007 Sunday morning session. It was amazing to be able to go. It was my first time watching conference after her baptism in May. I loved it and was so happy to see president Hinckley speak that morning. Sister Beck's talk was also amazing. I am so grateful that Jared gave me that 1st book of mormon. I love the gospel.

Camping

Jared took Tanner to the father and son campout. Tanner was so excited and they had a blast. It was really cold at night up there. I'm glad they had so much fun. Like I said Jared is a natural.

Parker and Daddy

Jared is such a good daddy! He is definately a natural. He comes home from work and just stares at our little cutie. He loves to burp him and change his diaper(hopefully it lasts) I am so lucky to have them both! Love you honey!

More visitors and then going home at last!

and more.........

More family pics
