Tanner's Big Day!

I didn't take tons of pics like I should have, but here are a few good ones!

Zach, Tanner, and Bailey.
They are just the sweetest kiddos and so cute!

Gotta love Parker's super long tie! I have such handsome boys. =)

Tanner has made us sooo proud! He has chosen to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized! It was a wonderful service and the spirit was very strong. I was filled with love and full of joy to say the least. It was a wonderful day with family and friends. Thanks to everyone that came to support and celebrate with us. It meant so much to Tanner to have you all there! A special thanks to my mom who came even after having major surgery 5 days before! Tanner loves his Nana so much and it was so great that she could be there to support him. Tanner is a very special boy and has alot of responsibility as a big brother. He is full of love and has a deep desire to choose the right. It's not always easy but we know that he is trying each day to do better. Parker loves his big brother Tanner so much and loves to play with him. He looks up to him so much also and I know that Tanner will always be there to show his brothers the way. I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father has entrusted me with such a wonderful little boy! We love Tanner and are grateful he is in our family! We are so grateful for The gospel of Jesus Christ and for Tanner's example to us and to his little brothers!

Happy Birthday Tannerman!!!!!

This post was going to be all birthday pics but I had to throw some other cute ones in! After we sold all the puppies, we used the profits to get the camera Jared had wanted for the last 3 years and we have been taking tons of pictures! It's a Canon SLR and way too fancy for me but I'm getting the hang of auto mode at least. X-)

Jared is sooo sweet with our boys! Love this picture!
This is Tanner with his cousin Bryson. Relaxing after a long afternoon of swimming at Nana and Papa's house. They couldn't be bothered to look at the camera for a picture. Basketball finals are very important, Mom!!
My brother Ross and Parker were being so cute just sitting together. Ross coaxed Parker to sit with him with his cool cell phone. All the kids love Ross! He is after all the biggest kid of all.
Just a random pic of Parker. He loves to sit and watch me/help me cook or bake. We were making bread this day.
Love this pic too. Tender moments. nuff said.
Jared took Tanner shooting the other week with a friend from work. Which Tanner LOVES! I'm so glad they can spend time together on Jared's time off.
Tanner and Parker always try to come up with things to do on Sundays. Tanner is such a good big brother. He lets Parker walk all over him. Literally! I'm a little hard on him sometimes to be a good example, I need to remember he is still little and needs to enjoy it. It's hard being the big brother all the time. Always having to be a good example. Such is life.
I always kick my heels off the moment we get home from church and Parker enjoys them the rest of the day. It's cute.
Haha! Tanner brought these glasses home from his school treasure box and Parker wore them everyday till they finally broke.
Another sweet pic of my hubby and Carson.

I made some super not healthy banana bread last week and thought it looked so scrumptious I had to take picture. Then the next day at Target I found this super super cute platter on clearance for only $3.24!!!! My banana bread would have looked even better served on it. Not that it was served to anyone except my boys. But hey life is all about simple pleasures, right?!!
Here's Tanner on his birthday morning with some yummy treats I made. He was sooo excited to share them with his class. It's a homemade brownie base with strawberry ice cream and a chocolate ganache topped with a fresh strawberry! They were amazing! I had to keep a few at home for us to have as well. I got the recipe off.....you guessed it! melskitchencafe.com LOVE IT!
Memorial Day we went to my parents to have a family bday party for aTanner. That morning I made a special cake for Tanner. He picked out the pan. and Parker helped me make the frosting. Well......he sampled it anyway!
Gotta Love this one!
Parker with a mouth full of yummy drippy delicious watermelon.
Carson hung out under the patio in the shade while we swam. He is such a good baby. He had no complaints all day. Just ate and slept!
Tanner and Bryson
Tanner has some mad basketball skills....even in the pool apparently!
Parker really loved the corn on the cob, he ate all of it too.
Happy Birthday to Tanner! He is 8 years old and we love him soooooo much!
Of course he requested a basketball cake!

It was so much fun celebrating with all of our family! Thanks mom and dad for hosting such a fun party! We ate entirely too much good food, swam all day long, got sunburned(well I did anyway!) and afterwards we stopped by the Organ family get together! It was a LONG day! But Tanner felt special and that is what is important. We all had a ton of fun and are grateful to have both sides of the family close by. I love being able to have get togethers with everybody!
