BIG BULL DOWN!!
Ok, Ok, it's not that big as far as the antlers go, but we have a lot of meat coming our way. Jared shot this bull elk on his hunt on saturday. Jared went with his brother, Justin, and his dad who also had tags and his brother, Ryan, and Reggie(a friend) to hunt elk. Long story short- they didn't see a lot of elk but on saturday morning Jared spotted this elk across the canyon and shot him. It was a 575 yard shot. He shot it at 8:15 in the morning and they didn't get back to camp until 4:00 pm. Jared was very thankful that Reggie came with his horses to help pack the meat out. Here are some pics:

Hey looks like Jared had a fun hunt! Am I not seeing clearly- it looks like a pretty big rack to me! That will be so nice to restock the freezer with all that meat! Thanks again for coming to my shower and for the great "practical" gifts(as you put it)! I appreciate it so much!
Pretty nice! We love Elk meat! Hopefully Skylar will be able to "catch one" next year... Congrats!
By the way, I LOVE your new haircut!
